Designed in close collaboration with the awesome team at Prevas ✨ I introduced a new way of thinking about the design, user experience, and improved workflow for the whole organization.


Our goal was to design an experience to safely store, analyze and send push notifications based on image content analysis automatically.

Connecting one’s idea 💡🤝
Image Engine along with Prevas reached me for my expertise to work with them and bring their ideas to life. Image Engine has been designed to take images produced by CCTV cameras and would like to take their business on the next level with a state of the art artificial Intelligence engine.

OUR STUDY
Understanding the problem
To understand the users, we observed how some users interacted with their existing tools, and by creating multiple user testing scenarios and feedback from our prototype, we collected all the insights and found that most of users strive for automation and smart digital platform.



Based on the business model and user stories, we’ve matched and created a flow for incoming process, smart image search and camera setup flow.

Simplified sign up process
We simplified the steps and information needed for users to sign up, avoiding longer forms, overwhelming or too much information that cause high abandonment rates.




FEATURES
Managing devices
Users can simply add, create group, set a scheduler and manage their notification for each device. We added a share functionality where owners can invite people to get access and notify from alerts.

Smart AI triggers and notifications with a simple toggle feature

Notifications can be scheduled directly from your smart phone or browser. This enables the users to automatically enable and disable detection as required.

We’ve applied push notifications to any Smart Phone or Tablet with the web app installed, or alternatively alerts can be sent by email.

We make sure the content and information we put in are friendly, clear and engaging to get them started.



ASSEMBLED CAREFULLY
Check, manage and organize devices in one place

Clean and organized space for both web and mobile while maintaining the same experience. That same panel can be toggled to a Grid or List view which shows an information of every status and updates of the devices.




RESELLER FEATURE
A central dashboard allows quick access to customers information 😱

Another plan was to designed a feature from the smallest of customers to large enterprises. Enabling resellers to offer a bespoke service with the cloud services.




ANALYTICS CAPABILITY
Striving for collecting data accurately

We defined interface efficacy as fostering not only a complete data set, but one that was perfectly accurate. Multi-step scanning happens in real-time, with warnings displayed on individual categories.



A USER-CENTRIC EXPERIENCE
Design languange to guide the user

This discovery framed my thinking about how to structure the design, and resulted in a groundbreaking approach where each data had a unique layout of form elements.




TYPEFACE
SF Pro Text typeface
Neutral, flexible, sans-serif typeface is the system font for iOS, iPad OS, macOS and tvOS, perfect for Image Engine design requirements to make it simple and modern. The variable optical sizes with its nine weights for optimal legibility.



KNOWLEDGE SPACE
Building Image Engine’s informational space

We wanted the Image Engine to seamlessly match the overall look and feel of the website from the brand to create a final look consistent with the surrounding elements.



VERSATILE EVEN ONLINE
A fully responsive, mobile enhanced experience

Optimized responsive pages allow browsing from smaller screens without sacrificing information or creating unacceptable load times.





A substantial number of prospective users come from mobile, so the experience had to be outstanding.


As with all my projects here, I approached the product design with two guiding principles:


Make it simple
Make the platform so easy that anyone could jump in and use it

Make it fun
Spark joy in customers who have to use the tool every day so that they stick with it
